Computer Labs

Computer labs are available to our residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the semester. These labs offer Windows XP workstations. Software includes Microsoft Office 2003 and internet access.  Printers are available for student use.  Computer rooms are conveniently located in each area.

• Students using the  workstations must save data to their home drive on CougarNet (H:\) or a flash memory drive.

• Students must supply paper for the printers.

• Your room key is required for access to these labs

(Toner for the printers is supplied by RLH. Please report a work order here for cartridge replacements and any other problems in the computer lab).

Basic Rules:

•  Food and drinks are NOT allowed in the computer room.

•  Vandalism of software or hardware will NOT be tolerated.

•  Residents may only use the lab in their area.

•  Academic use will take priority over recreational use.

•  Keep noise to a minimum to avoid disturbing others.

Cougar Place lab is located in Building 2, next to the AC Office. You will find 5 Windows XP workstations, The printer is located behind the information desk..

Moody Towers lab is located on the ground floor, across from the Towers Service Center Mail room. There are 19 Windows XP workstations, and 1 laser printer.

Quadrangle lab is located on the first floor of OB Hall across from the RHA office. There are 9 Windows XP workstations, and 1 laser printer.

To insure proper operation, computer labs are maintained by the RLH Operations IT Staff. The computer lab will be closed every Sunday morning from 1:00 am to 5:00 am for maintenance.

Note: RLH computer labs are not services included as part of the Housing Agreement. They are offered as a convenience for the residents and are funded and maintained by Residential Life & Housing.
