About FYRE
The FYRE Program is located on Floors 2-9 of the South Moody Tower. The essential goal of FYRE is to maximize the student's potential to achieve academic success and to adjust responsibly to the individual and interpersonal challenges presented by collegiate life.
PROGRAM BENEFITS
The FYRE Program will assist in making your transition to life at the university a little easier. By volunteering to participate in this program, you will:
- Be among a SELECT GROUP of 250 first-year students participating in the FYRE Program.
- Have the opportunity to participate in the Backstage P.A.S.S. Freshman Transition Program and move in a week before all other residents.
- Live on a floor with students who have the same or similar major as yourself.
- Work directly with University Faculty and Staff to ensure your academic success.
- Have access to services that will assist you with academic, career, and personal goals.
- Participate in community service and special programs such as critical issue forums, community dinners, and student activity fairs.
- Develop enhanced academic, social, and leadership skills.
