Room Rates
2008-2009
Residential Life
& Housing offers several types of living
arrangements. You will find community style
arrangements in the
Moody Towers. Two-room suites can be found in
the Quadrangle. Honors
housing is found in the Quadrangle. Single rooms
are in
Cougar Place. Family and married housing is
not available in Residential Life &
Housing. Those requiring family housing or
apartments can live in the
Cambridge Oaks Apartments which is located on
campus. Cullen
Oaks Apartments is a new on campus housing
facility. We currently do not offer any apartment
locator service.
Bayou Oaks, opened Fall 2003, offers both
residence halls and town homes for regular
students and Greek students.
Below is a break
down of the room rates. Meal plans are additional.
Contracts are made on an academic year (Fall and
Spring), Spring only, or Summer. Students only
requiring Fall may cancel their academic year
contract in Spring, provided that they meet
certain criteria, such as graduation, suspension,
military, or marriage, with official
documentation. Otherwise, they will be penalized
for breach of contract. The Semester Rate is the
amount charged each semester along with
tuition. Payments are due based on the Bursar's
schedule.
Note: These rates will apply to any
resident. There are NO special rates for
out-of-state or international students. Prices are
subject to change without notice.
All rates are
based on the academic year. Room and board
charges are billed by the semester.
Payments follow
the University fee payment schedule and can be
billed in one, two or three installments.

Housing Facts:

Prices for Housing Include:
All utilities, local phone service, Ethernet
service (basic package), in room cable (basic
package), computer labs, on
site laundry, furnished/carpet, vending areas,
24-hour site staff.

Room & Board rates are charged by
the semester. Student accounts will show the
semester charge for room/board on the fee bill.
·
Moody Towers/Quadrangle has state of
the art fire protections system.
·
Moody Towers/Quadrangle Residents
are required to be on a meal plan.
·
All room and board rates are subject
to approval from the Board of Regents.
